The innings for KCC started well with a typical flyer by Sudershan Manhas (36), but with some good bowling from New Edinburgh saw Kingston fall from 53-1 to 107-8. Though Kingston was down they managed to score a very respectable score of 230, and it was possible because of a 9th wicket partnership of 122 that was built between Tharindu Nanayakkara (113) and Yasser Rahim (12).
The NECC's innings started off positively as there newest member, Shailesh Masih, looked to take charge of the game with some aggressive batting. Though he was caught trying to clear mid-off
to a delivery from manhas, the aggresiveness was continued by the Captain, Pankaj Shrichand (61), and Andrew Dixon (56) as they compiled a 100+ run partnership for the second wicket to see NECC at 125-1. Pankaj was ruled L.B.W at this point and suddenly wickets started to fall, what happened next was a collapse by the New Edingburg batting line up as there middle order lacked a couple of there senior batsmen. At the end, the KCC bowlers performed Extremely well, with outstanding performances by Vishva, Yasser and Shazeb, to get NECC all out for 186 to win by 44 runs.
