Sunny/Hot conditions - Temp feeling like ~ 38C.
CCC won the toss and elected to bat first. CCC batting star was once again Haris Chaudry who played another solid knock to raise a decent total for Canterbury. Cathedral spinners bowled very well and picked wickets while being very economical. CCC was all out in very last ball of their alloted 50 overs.
Cathedral inning start was poor but Dheeraj Kumar played a patient and long inning to remain on the wicket for ~ 35 overs. He got little support from other batsman while Canterbury bowlers bowled tightly. Although Joy Tanotra was main strike bowler, Richard Landge and Imran Lakhani bowled very tight spells to create pressure and CCCCC inning folded facing mounting run rate.
Haris Chaudhry was named Man of the match for his brilliant 80 runs.
