It was hot humid day suitable for the batting, as there was no swing in the pitch. ST. Catherine managed to put a decent score of 204 on the board, but they were restricted due to great bowling of Ahmad Mansoor (5 wks). Score was not a great deal of worry for Crescent Colts as they have great talent in the batting department. However, the passing showers which lasted for 5 min change the situation of the pitch. When Crescent Colts started their batting it was hard to play against the great bowling of ST. Catherine opening bowling pair of FARDEEN AND NITIN. Crescent Colts lost 6 wicket for just 33 runs with great hat- trick by NITIN. With the tail starting , oppostion took things lightly. With great patience of Sabir (65) and clever hitting of Humza (52) put up the 112 runs partnership for 7 wicket. After Humza was bowled by the ball which swung of the seam, ST. Catherine were again on top.Another partnership of 30 runs between Sabir and Fahad (17) brought Crescent Colts closer to victory. However, after losing 2 wickets of two set batsmen, St. Catherine were close to finishing the game. Naseer Malik (20*) hitted few glorious drives and with help of Shawn Malik (3*) won the game for Crescent Colts. GREAT WORK guys
