Hamilton District Cricket league will official open their 2013 season on May 18, 2013 with several 1st division games on the schedule. 2012 champion Niagara Cricket Club formally known as St. Catherine Cricket Club will host Niagara Cricket Academy - First at their newly build home ground. The Premier Division season opener on May19th, 2012 Champion Halton Warriors will host Niagara Cricket Academy. HDC executives wishes all the club very best wishes for the 2013 season. Enjoy and have fun and show good sportsmanship sprit.

Ontario U-15 trails

Cricket Council of Ontario is pleased to invite all under-15 cricket players for open trails to select top 48 players for Corporate Cricket League sponsored ?U-15 Ontario Regional Championship? to be played from May 17- June 7, 2013 at Ross Lord in Toronto.

*Please make sure to register by Wednesday, May 12, 2013..All Junior players up to U19 are encourage to register to receive future trials/tournament information automatically as it is announced.
Trial: Tuesday May 14-15, 2013 from 5:00pm ? 7:00 PM at Ross Lord Park in Toronto
Trails fee: $10.00, if selected, there will be $50 fee for Regional Tournament.
Eligibility: Player born September 1, 1997 and after.
Player must REGISTER IN ADVANCE, be a member in good standing with CCO affiliated leagues and participates in the Trials. For those who have a conflict with the trial date, please contact ShahZafar@sympatico.ca as soon as possible.
Furthermore, from the regional tournament (May 17-June 7players will be selected for following teams:
1. Ontario High Performance program: 30 players from different categories (Fast bowlers, spin, batting) will be selected for Ontario (Regional) High performance training camp (joint program CCO/Cricket Canada) which will be held during the off season in Toronto. The focus of the HP training camp is to develop advanced cricket skills and ensure that all players receive quality opportunity to learn.
2. Ontario Team: Ontario U-15 team will be selected for the tour of California to play a tournament from June 20-24, 2013
