What a game...Halton batting first scored at good pace Imran Raja made Ramblers pay for the fielding lapses and scored 98*. He was unlucky not to make century as last over by Pankaj was tight and they could manage only two runs. Tawab was pick of the bowlers giving away only 21 runs in 4 overs for 1 wkt. Imran Kazmi and Imran Raja had a good partnership of 110 runs. Ramblers got off to a shaky start as their opener Ankur got out chaply. 2nd wicket set the tone and Pankaj and Samad had a partnership of 55 runs in good time. Samad was the top scorer with 37 runs. Later on everyone chipped in. Some crucial wickets at regular intervals kept the game alive and Halton was in front for most part. Zain and Hassaan had a good partnrship of 40 runs for 7th wicket. Zain's wicket tilted the match back in Halton's favour. Hassaan batted sensibly and scored 20 runs. Last two overs Ramblers needed 8 runs and match was in the bag. Second last over fetched only two runs which was bowlde by Qureshi saab and suddenly 6 runs in 6 balls were needed. First ball, Saad got out trying to clear the fence. Second ball, Hassaan took a single. Third ball, trying to steal a second Hassaan got run out. 3 balls 4 runs and last wicket. Imran K bowled a wide bal. Hamza scored a single off next ball. Two in two needed. Videsh and Hamza scored a single each and won the match. Good win Boys!!
