Maple Leaf Cricket Club Trust is the titled owner of the cricket facility at King City Ontario. The Trust, as owner of the facility, recognizes that the priority and historical user of the facility to be Toronto & District Cricket Association. The Toronto & District Cricket Association has and continues to develop, invest, maintain, and play on the facility and has done so for 50 years. In fact the Toronto & District Cricket Association originally purchased the facility in 1955 and owned it before transferring ownership to the Trust. The Trust does not recognize any user of the facility, other than by the Toronto & District Cricket Association. This announcement is made in order to clarify the incorrect perception that the facility has been leased to another party.
