CCCAT TAKES ON T&DCA ON SUNDAY JULY 18TH AT KEELE RESERVOIR IN THE NORMAN JACKSON MEMORIAL TROPHY COMPETITION. THE GAME WILL START AT 12.30PM .THE CCCAT REPRESENTATIVE TEAM OF ELITE PLAYERS WILL BE PUBLISHED SOON.
CCCAT GAVE HAMILTON AND DISTRICT A WIN LAST WEEK. CCCAT ELECTED TO BAT AND SCORED 158 RUNS. FITZ ADAMS WAS UNBEATEN WITH 68 RUNS.
HAMILTON AND DISTRICT SOON FOUND THEMSELVES IN TROUBLE AGAINST A GOOD CCCAT BOWLING ATTACK WHICH DEMOLISHED THE FIRST 8 BATSMEN FOR ONLY 76 RUNS. with 76 for 8 WHAT SEEMS TO BE AN EASY VICTORY FOR CCCAT, BECAME A NIGHTMARE WITH THREE MAJOR DROP CATCHES.
AT 88 RUNS THE 9TH WICKET WAS DROPPED BY ELLISON IN CONSECUTIVE OVERS AND AT 115 FOR 9, Nihant RAO PUT DOWN HIS OWN SIMPLE RETURN CATCH. HAD HE TAKEN THIS SITTER OF A CATCH, CCCAT WOULD HAVE WON THE MATCH. BUT THIS WAS NOT MEANT TO BE AND THE 9TH WICKET SAW HDCL TO VICTORY, LEAVING CCCAT LICKING THEIR WOUNDS.
HOPE WE CAN TURN THIS AROUND AGAINST TDCA
PLEASE COME OUT ON SUNDAY AND SUPPORT YOUR CCCAT REPRESENTATIVE TEAM.
