One of the worst batting conditions ever played, uneven bounce. Outfield was good, but wet conditions, difficult to field. Bowling was lot tougher, front foot slips at landing on mat. Bowlers were slipping in there follow through. Cricket is the gentleman's game. So was played in good spirit and good efforts from both teams. Punjab XI won the toss and elected to bat first. Punjab XI lost 2 early wickets in first over by Ridey Palia (who took 4 wicket in 3 overs), followed by another 1 in next over . They kept on losing wickets on regular intervals with no big partnership. Finally they managed to score 70 under tough conditions. This was looking like a fair score on the pitch like that. PUCC started badly by making blunder mistakes losing top 5 wickets at score of 26.Matin almost did the job for his team for his 3 wickets for 11 runs. Only way to victory was to hold the nerves and good partnership. Japinder Mavi did the same, waited for the loose balls. Finally they managed to secure victory in 13th over with 4 wickets left.
