Brampton Cricket League was established in 2009 to promote the game of cricket at grass roots in the city of Brampton and the Region of Peel. Through this website we hope to keep you informed regarding updates, match fixtures & schedules, player & teams stats and all things cricket. The league is experiencing exceptional growth and has grown from 6 teams in 2009 to 34 teams in 2012; a 460% increase. BCL offers cash prize to its winners and runners up across each division and continues to grow the game within our youth division. Welcome to the BCL and let us all work together to make this league the best to play in!

Should be scanned and emailed to adyeel@live.com before end of day Wednesday. It should have the following details in the email:

Subject line: Match #, T20 or ODI, Home VS Away Team

Body of Email: Home team won by "x" runs/wickets

Effective May 18th - teams will start losing points for incomplete online scorecard and missing match sheet.

This is a mandatory session and all clubs are required to attend with their Captain and President. Lunch will be provided.

2013-04-23 2013 Umpiring Sessions

are scheduled as follows:

Sat, April 27 - 3pm - 6pm (session # 1)

Sun, April 28 - 1pm - 4pm (session # 2 & test)

2013-03-26 Bank Deposit Details

Teams: the fastest way of getting your fee to the league is by direct deposit to the BCL account at any TD Canada Trust location. (Brampton Cricket League, Transit # 03102, Account # 523-0265). Make sure to send us the transaction receipt after deposit is made to allow for proper accounting.

2013-03-06 2013 Election General Meeting

has been cancelled due to lack of interest & quorum.

After several reminders by email, phone as well as by this website - there has not been any interest from anyone in our membership for BCL Board position. EGM will now be held in 2015.

Date, time and location for 2013 captains' meeting will be posted shortly.

2013-03-02 2013 Registration

deadline is end of this month (Mar 31). If you have not submitted your 2013 registration form yet - do so at your earliest. Spots are limited this season and we would hate for you to lose your spot.

2013-02-11 2013 Award Ceremony

is scheduled for Sat, Mar 23rd. Mark your calenders for this exciting event and stay tuned for more info.

2013-02-10 EMG 2013 Reminder

Dear Members:
Please see this second reminder note from the league secretary. The BCL Management is urging and encouraging all members to participate in the upcoming election. The Board is open to welcoming new leadership this year and this note is another reminder for all members to participate. Unlike other setups - we encourage change and welcome new participation & leadership :-)

2013-02-04 2013 Fee Schedule is

as follows:

T20: 10-12 games + playoffs
Returning : $1,400
New Team: $1,500

ODI : 10- 12 games + playoffs
Returning: $1,800
New Team: $2,100

Payment break down schedule is as follows:
25% by Feb 1st. 50% by Mar 15th. 25% by Apr 15th.

2013-02-04 Election General Meeting

Teams - please note that BCL Elections are scheduled for Sat, Mar 9, 2013. We encourage all of you to participate; if you or a member of your team is interested in being part of an organized setup let the league secretary know before Fri, Feb 22, 2013. Nomination and selection process is clearly listed in our bylaws - we look forward to hearing from you.
